The 2026 Atlanta Wedding Photo Booth Guide
A wedding photo booth is the one vendor your guests actually interact with. Here is everything Atlanta couples ask us before they book — hours, placement, prints, and the small decisions that keep the line moving all night.

How many hours do you actually need?
Our wedding collections run four hours, and after hundreds of receptions that number holds up. Four hours covers the window from the end of dinner service through the last stretch of dancing, which is when guests are loose, dressed up, and looking for something to do between songs. Anything shorter and you spend half the rental waiting for the room to warm up. Anything longer and you are paying for coverage during speeches and first dances, when nobody is standing in a booth line.
If your reception starts late or you want the booth open during cocktail hour as well, add an hour rather than shifting the whole block earlier. Idle time is priced at $50 per hour, so we can arrive early, set up completely, and keep the booth covered until the moment you want it live. Guests never watch a crew build a backdrop mid-reception.
Where the booth belongs in the room
Placement is the single biggest predictor of how busy a booth gets. The best spot is inside the reception room, in line of sight of the dance floor, near the bar if possible. The worst spot is a quiet hallway or a separate room 'so it does not disturb anyone.' A booth guests cannot see is a booth guests forget.
Practically, we need roughly a 10x10 foot footprint, a standard power outlet within 25 feet, and a level floor. We handle everything else. Share your floor plan with your planner and with us at least two weeks out and we will mark the spot that works for both flow and photos.

Prints, digital, or both?
Our DSLR Booth Signature collection at $699 is digital only: instant text and QR delivery, plus a full online gallery. It is the right choice for couples whose guest list lives on their phones. The Luxe collection at $899 and the Platinum collection at $1,099 include unlimited on-site prints with a custom template designed around your invitation suite.
If you love the idea of prints but started with a digital collection, unlimited prints can be added for $175. In our experience, prints change the energy of a reception. Guests wait by the printer, compare strips, and go back for a second round with different people. Digital delivery is what fills your hashtag; prints are what fill the room with noise.
The details that make the line move
- A designed template that matches your stationery, not a generic frame.
- A backdrop that reads well on camera — texture beats flat color every time.
- An attendant who invites people in instead of standing behind the equipment.
- A props table edited down to a dozen good pieces rather than fifty tired ones.
- A visible sign with your QR code so guests can pull their photos before the drive home.
Booking, payment and travel
Most Atlanta couples reserve six to nine months out, and peak spring and fall Saturdays go first. A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable booking retainer hold your date; the remaining 50% is due 14 days before the event. Travel within 60 round-trip miles of Atlanta is included, and anything beyond that is quoted separately. Applicable taxes are calculated based on the venue location and added to the final invoice.
Add-ons are where personality shows up. An audio guestbook at $250 captures voice messages from the people who traveled to be there. VideoFX at $250 turns a slow-motion champagne spray into the clip that gets reposted all week. A flower wall at $300 doubles as your ceremony backdrop earlier in the day.
What we would tell our own friends
Book four hours, open the booth after dinner, put it where people can see it, and pick prints if your family skews multigenerational. Spend the add-on budget on one memorable thing rather than three small ones. And give your attendant a heads-up about the group photo you want — the wedding party, the college friends, the grandparents — so someone is actively rounding people up rather than hoping it happens.
Do that and the booth stops being a rental line item. It becomes the corner of the room everyone remembers, and the folder of photos you actually scroll through on your first anniversary.
